Welcome Home
This historic home offers a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Beginning 01/01/26, we are delighted to introduce a new chapter at Judge’s Quarters. In partnership with our community’s finest restaurants, breakfast will now be enjoyed at their establishment. Each morning, JQ guests will be presented with a voucher, offering the freedom to savor the flavors of Lowville while supporting the artisans who make our town so exceptional.
Guests who prefer to forgo the breakfast may simply select the no-breakfast option when reserving and continue to enjoy the light breakfast offerings and coffee/tea available in the Judge’s Quarters dining room 24/7.

The Jemima Room is in honor of Jemima Kelley, the matriarch of the original family who built the house in 1798. This room reflects a subtle feminine energy, while honoring Jemima’s presence in a home where she raised six sons alongside her husband. Located in the rear of the house, the room overlooks the peaceful courtyard offering a quiet serene setting for rest, comfort and reflection.
